Mechanism of Action

Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH) consisting of 44 amino acids with a trans-3-hexenoic acid modification. It binds to GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary, stimulating synthesis and pulsatile release of endogenous growth hormone while preserving the natural GH feedback axis.
